Anju Lagah, Matchmaker & Relationship Coach at Two Find
Anju Lagah is the driving force behind Two Find - Singapore's leading matchmaking and relationship coaching service for international professionals, entrepreneurs, and High Net Worth Individuals. A true Brit by birth and nature, she left her beloved England to establish Singapore as her second home for the past 16 years.
During her 12-year career as a recruiter for senior roles in emerging tech throughout Europe and Asia, she observed that many accomplished individuals - including family, friends, and colleagues - faced difficulties in finding like-minded and committed partners when searching on their own. Many struggled to connect with sincere individuals seeking long-term and fulfilling relationships. She resolved to use her experience to transform their outlook on relationships and has been transforming their outcomes over the last few years for the better.
Anju completed an ICF-accredited training program and is the first Matchmaker in Singapore to be certified by the UK Matchmaker Academy, to bring industry-leading experience, international best practices, and proven methods to the matchmaking scene.
Her expertise in "corporate matchmaking", training and research delves into the science and best practices of dating and matchmaking. Anju's accolades speak for themselves: she's a nationally awarded consultant and was recently named a finalist in the International Wellness Coach Awards (2022).
Do you recall the enthralling romance novels that we secretly read under our school books at night and the enchanting films that whisked us away with their heartfelt love scenes?
Well, it's time to face reality and dispel the love myths that have been deceiving us and hindering us from cultivating stable, wholesome relationships.
In this workshop with Anju Lagah, attendees will have the opportunity to delve into and break down three common misconceptions about love:
• the belief that love is purely instinctual,
• that it requires instant chemistry, and
• that too many options (the paradox of choice) can prevent one from committing.
We'll discuss how these common myths can affect our expectations, behaviours, perceptions, and learn practical strategies to overcome them in order to find fulfilling relationships.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
• Recognize and deconstruct three common myths around love and dating
• Understand how these myths can impact their dating experiences and choices
• Explore alternative perspectives and approaches to love and dating
• Practice concrete skills and exercises to implement these perspectives and approaches
