As we reach that time of year when we appreciate spending time with loved ones, we remember those who may not be as fortunate – children who are experiencing challenges in their families, like financial difficulties, domestic violence, divorce, abuse, and parents' incarceration. We also spare a thought for our fellow women who have been abused and suffer from seemingly insurmountable difficulties, some of whom are survivors of chronic domestic violence.
From 12 November to 12 December 2022, PrimeTime Outreach is extending support to the Marymount Centre in Singapore.
Marymount Centre runs the Ahuva Good Shepherd (made up of three residential homes for children aged 4-18 years old), the Good Shepherd Centre (a crisis shelter for abused women & their children) and the Good Shepherd Student Care.
In this festive season of giving and sharing, as a PrimeTime community, we invite you to join us to fill a box (or boxes) for these vulnerable women and children. Their needs are simple and a little goes a long way to help them. The residents need basic necessities e.g., food, toiletries and some baby care items. A list of items will be provided upon registration and arrangements for the collection & delivery of the boxes will also be shared at the same time.
