Come join us in our mission to protect our environment and preserve the beauty of our beaches as we work together to keep our beaches pristine and pollution-free. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in our community while enjoying a fun-filled day at the beach.
On Saturday June 10, 2023 at 9am, we'll be gathering at East Coast Park to pick up litter and debris that threaten the beauty and safety of our beaches. Did you know that every year, millions of tons of plastic waste end up in our oceans, harming marine life and ecosystems? By participating in this beach cleanup, you can help make a real impact and protect our natural resources.
Whether you're a resident, a beach-goer, or just passionate about environmental conservation, we invite you to participate in this important event. All necessary cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided, but please bring your own reusable water bottle and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. We'll also have snacks and refreshments available to keep you fuelled and hydrated throughout the event.
